As the founding Chairwoman of the Cuban Committee for Solidarity with South Vietnam, revolutionary heroine Melba Hernández brought together Cuba’s political organizations, mass organizations, government agencies, and ministries, helping spread support for Vietnam throughout Cuban society and onto the international stage.
