On the eve of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), many international scholars, politicians, and left-wing activists have affirmed the Party’s irreplaceable leadership role in Vietnam’s history and present. They also expressed their expectation that the 14th National Congress will continue to strengthen the close relationship between the Party and the people, while opening up strategic decisions for sustainable development in a new era.

On the occasion of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Khamphao Ernthavanh shared with VietnamTimes Magazine her assessments and expectations regarding the significance of the Congress.
