The long beach on Bay Canh island (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is one of the 14 spawning grounds of sea turtles in the archipelago and is also the site with the biggest number of turtles to lay eggs.

Every year when June and July draw near, the beautiful island of Con Dao, southern Vietnam turns more frenzy than ever with the birth of thousands of rare individuals of sea turtles.
