On the evening of October 12, at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hanoi People’s Committee, held the closing ceremony of the First World Culture Festival in Hanoi 2025.

On the evening of October 11 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, a charity auction took place as part of the First World Culture Festival in Hanoi. The event aimed to raise funds in support of residents affected by recent floods.

From October 10 to 12, 2025, at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hanoi People’s Committee, will organize the “First World Culture Festival in Hanoi.” This is a major cultural diplomacy event of Vietnam in 2025, carrying special significance in honoring the diverse values of global cultures, fostering people-to-people exchanges, and promoting mutual understanding and friendship between Vietnam and international friends.

From October 3–5, the first World Culture Festival will take place at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi, featuring the participation of 48 embassies, international organizations, and foreign cultural centers in Vietnam. The event is a new initiative that underscores the vital role of culture in connecting humanity, fostering peace, and promoting sustainable development.
