Thuy Khue poetry club published poem collection about Hugo Chávez
(VNF) - On the occasion of the four-year death anniversary of Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez, the Thuy Khue poetry club (Tay Ho district, Hanoi) on August 12 released the poem collection entitled "Nơi đây Chávez đã đi qua" (Right here Chávez had come by).
The launching ceremony attracted the participation of representatives of leaders of Thuy Khue Ward, Vietnamese-Venezuelan friends, some journalists and amateur poets.

The 22-poem collection, written in Vietnamese and translated into Spanish, is a testimony of the friendship between two peoples who love, respect and admire each other regardless of geographic distance. Through this work, Vietnamese amateur poets expressed sincere and cordial affection for Hugo Chávez.
Speaking at the launching ceremony of the poem collection, Nguyen Trong Loc, Head of the Thuy Khue poetry club, said that the poems were written in simple language but expressed the feelings of the Vietnamese people to Venezuela country and the leader Hugo Chávez.

Nelson Rodrígueza, First Secretary of the Venezuela Embassy in Vietnam, said he was delighted at the sincere sentiments of the Vietnamese people for Hugo Chávez. He will tell the people of Venezuela about the friendship of the two countries and the two peoples. Also, Mr. Nelson dedicated the participants a poem he wrote about Hanoi.
Phan Van Nham, Chairman of the Fatherland Front, representatives of Thuy Khue Ward leaders expressed his appreciation for the poetry club's activities and encouraged such useful cultural activities.
Hugo Chávez was the initiator of the Bolivarian revolution and the "21st Century Socialism." Chávez had never met President Ho Chi Minh but he always admired President Ho Chi Minh’s life and revolutionary career. In 2006, Hugo Chávez visited Vietnam and had the opportunity to meet with General Vo Nguyen Giap. The visit left many good feelings in the heart of the Vietnamese people.
