UAE Ambassador supports Vietnamese thalassemia patients

UAE Ambassador Al Dhaheri donated some necessary equipments to the clinic of Thalassemia Center, National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (NIHBT) in May 13. This was one of the activity in the Year of Tolerance. The UAE chose 2019 was the Year of Tolerance and organised activities to enhance the UNESCO main objectives, highlighting UAE as a global capital of the tolerance, connect the different culture together and oppose the extremism.
The diplomat said at the event that he was glad to contribute to NIHBT. On this occasion, he and the staff of UAE Embassy had motivation to support the unfortunate people.
He also emphasized that the UAE leaders consider nothing is impossible and the people’s will is the motivation to struggle against the challenges. He added “we will create the motivation to the patients to make they defeat their misfortunes”.
Besides offering new equipment to the clinic of Thalassemia Center, the Ambassador also presented gifts to Thalassemia pediatric patients./.
