UAE Embassy Honors Outstanding Achievements of Vietnam Youth Muay Thai Team
	Inauguration of Community Bridge in Tuyen Quang Funded by the UAE Embassy in Vietnam

Nam Dan Commune remains an area facing numerous socio-economic difficulties. The rates of poor and near-poor households remain high; infrastructure is underdeveloped; and the transportation system is still limited. In addition, educational facilities in the locality continue to face many shortages. Several facilities that were invested in long ago have seriously deteriorated, including the school’s restroom system. Against this backdrop, the UAE Embassy in Vietnam implemented the construction of new restroom facilities for Nam Dan Kindergarten.

After more than one month of construction, the completed facilities were put into operation, meeting the essential needs of 271 Nung and H’Mong ethnic minority children currently studying at the school. The project not only helps improve sanitation conditions and safeguard the students’ health, but also contributes to creating a safer, cleaner, and more child-friendly learning environment.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, a representative of the UAE Embassy in Vietnam said that through community support activities for local residents and students in Nam Dan Commune, the UAE Embassy in Vietnam continues to contribute to strengthening the good friendship between the two countries, towards the goal of sustainable development, particularly in the fields of education and childcare.

Representing the school, Vuong Thi Bac, Principal of Nam Dan Kindergarten, shared that for a school in a disadvantaged area such as Nam Dan Kindergarten, this support serves as a tremendous source of encouragement for the school staff to continue striving to improve the quality of childcare and education.

“We are committed to using and maintaining the facilities effectively and sustainably, while also educating the children on the importance of maintaining public hygiene so that the facilities can continue to deliver their best value,” she said.
