Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga introduced basic information about VUFO and its role and tasks in building and strengthening the friendship between the people of Vietnam and the world, non-governmental organizations, and international organizations.
According to Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, the United Nations plays an important role in supporting Vietnam not falling into the "middle-income trap", protecting the achievements of poverty reduction, and ensuring that people equitably enjoy the fruits of the country's development.
Pauline Tamesis said Vietnam is an active and dynamic member of the United Nations. She highly appreciated the cooperation and participation of the Vietnamese government and people in the organization's activities.
