US soldiers remains repatriated
The Vietnam Office for Seeking Missing Personnel VNOSMP the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) and the US MIA Office in Hanoi attented the ceremony.
In the ceremony, Vietnam handed back to US 02 (two) sets of American soldiers, which were submitted by local residence and excavacuated by joint task force in the 127th collaborative searching action project (April-June,2017)

These sets of remains was examined by the two countries' forensic specialists, who concluded they might belong to U.S. servicemen who went missing during the war, and recommended them to be brought back to Hawaii for further review.
On the ocassion, representative of the US goverment extended appreciation and thankfulness for the humantarian policy, the willingness and effective cooperation from the goverment and people of Vietnam.
