Vietnam and France's shared heritage preserved through digital library
The French Embassy in Vietnam and the National Library of Vietnam on April 7 unveiled a digital library at https://heritage.bnf.fr/france-vietnam.

It is considered a “Common Heritage” collection, consisting of more than 2,000 documents from the collections of the two national libraries and partners.
The digital library includes a variety of documents from the 17th to mid-20th centuries such as prints, manuscripts, maps, paintings, pictures and even audio that can be searched in French and Vietnamese.

In addition, there are also about 20 introductory articles by experts, researchers and librarians from both France and Vietnam that can help readers better understand the context of the documents.
For the first time, documents from the Indochina period, from 1922 to 1954, have been digitized. This is a diverse collection of documents including translations of Western and Vietnamese works, new literary creations, textbooks and technical books, reported by Nhan Dan.

French Adventurer to Cycle 19,000 km to Vietnam, Taking on 14 of Asia and Europe's Highest Passes
