The year 2025 marks 30 years since Vietnam became a member of ASEAN. On December 16 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) organized an international scientific conference entitled “Vietnam - ASEAN: 30 Years of Community Building and Shaping the Future” to mark the 30th anniversary of Vietnam’s accession to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
