Vietnam organizes ASEAN sports exchange in Italy
As chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR), Vietnam Ambassador to Italy Cao Chinh Thien last weekend held a sports exchange among the ASEAN embassies in Italy.
A large number of staff from six ASEAN embassies in Italy, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, participated in the activity.
Addressing the event, ambassador Cao Chinh Thien underscored the significance of the sports exchange in strengthening cooperation and sharing among ASEAN members in Italy for the common development of the community.
He suggested that similar upcoming exchanges should include Italian representatives to enhance mutual understanding and strengthen the friendship among ASEAN countries and Italy.

Also at the event, the officials and staff from ASEAN embassies in Rome took part in a friendly bowling competition.
The competition successfully concluded with first prize in women's and men's singles category went to the Indonesian and Thai embassies.
The first prize in team category was taken by the Malaysian Embassy./.
