Speaking on the national television channel France 2, French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized, "We are living in a rare technological and scientific revolution. AI can help us live better, learn better, work better, and take better care of our health. It is important that we build a trustworthy AI governance framework, helping AI serve people instead of just serving the interests of a small group."
The French President also called on Europe to accelerate the pace of AI development to avoid falling behind technological powers, while emphasizing the need for a clear roadmap of action to attract talent and promote sustainable AI development.
One of the important initiatives at the conference is "Current AI" - a Global Public-Private Partnership to support large-scale AI projects that serve the public interest. In addition, the parties emphasized the importance of limiting the concentration of power in a few technology corporations, ensuring that AI is more accessible to developing countries.
This conference is an opportunity for Vietnam to access the latest development trends of AI while promoting policies and strategies to effectively apply AI in important areas such as healthcare, education, and the digital economy. It also offers Vietnam a chance to affirm its active role in the international AI community, towards a sustainable and humane AI future.
