Vietnam praised for disease surveillance system

Strictly adhering to Official Telegram No. 198/CD-TTg, issued by the Prime Minister on October 17, 2025, regarding the "Peak Month for Combating Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) Fishing and the Sustainable Development of Vietnam’s Fisheries Sector," the Border Guard Command of Quang Ninh Province is mobilizing its full force. The agency is tightening maritime management and intensifying advocacy campaigns towards local fishermen.

This event highlighted the importance of Vietnam’s National Action Plan on AMR in Agriculture and One Health approach, which aims to reduce the misuse of antimicrobials in livestock and promote responsible practices across the agricultural sector.
