Vietnam purchases copyrights of precious documentaries about Uncle Ho and Saigon after liberalization
The documentary Vietnam: 30 days in Saigon (color picture, duration: 60 mins 44 sec) archived in the France's National centre of cinematography was directed by Jean-Pierre Moscardo in 1975. The film depicted the last days of the Vietnam war and Saigon city in early days after being liberalized.

The documentary Ho Chi Minh in the country of Lenin (blackwhite picture, duration: 30 mins 20 sec) was produced by the Russia's National Centre of Documentary in 1976.
The film featured President Ho Chi Minh's works in establishing the country of Vietnam after 1945; his activities to foster the ties with the former Soviet Union, including warm gathering with the country's children, workers, farmers and soldiers.

The State Records Management & Archives Department will join hands with the Vietnam National Television to broadcast the two documentaries on ocassion of Vietnam's historic events anniversary, said the Hanoi News.
The broadcast is expected to help the public, especially the young generation, gain insights of the long-standing special bonds between Vietnam and Russia, as well as the heroic fight for national liberty and indepence./.
