Vietnam’s Weather Forecast (December 7): Cold Spells Strengthen In The Northern Region

According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, cold air began to spread to the Northeast; and then affected other places in the North, North Central, and some places in the Central region.

In the North, the weather continues to be cold. During this cold air wave, the lowest temperature in the North and Thanh Hoa and Nghe An is commonly 15-18 degrees, especially in the Northern mountainous region.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Localized heavy rain is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas.

The weather forecast in different regions

Northwest region: The weather will be cloudy, with early morning fog and scattered light rain. Lowest temperature: 16-19 degrees. Highest temperature: 19-22 degrees.

Northeast region: Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms locally. The northeast wind gradually strengthens to level 3, and coastal areas level 3-4. Lowest temperature: 15-18 degrees. Highest temperature: 17-20 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: Cloudy, with light rain in the North, with moderate to heavy rain in the South. Lowest temperature: 19-22 degrees. Highest temperature: 21-24 degrees. In the South, there are places above 24 degrees.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms locally. During thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds are possible. Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 27-30 degrees.

The Central Highlands: Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. Lowest temperature: 18-21 degrees. Highest temperature: 27-30 degrees.

The Southern region: Cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places. Northeast wind level 2-3. Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees.

Hanoi: Cloudy and rainy, with local light rain. The weather is extremely cold. Lowest temperature: 16-18 degrees. Highest temperature: 18-20 degrees.

Ho Chi Minh City: According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the weather in the Ho Chi Minh City area is cloudy and sunny, with no rain at night. The temperature fluctuated between 32 - 34 degrees, unchanged from the previous day.
