Voters highly agree with action plan of 15th NA candidates in HCMC's constituency No. 4

Voters unanimously showed agreement to the five action programs initiated by candidates of the 15th National Assembly in Ho Chi Minh city’s constituency No. 4 on May 7 morning.

With a high agreement rate, the voters hold high expectations in the early implementation of all programs in improving people’s lives.

Accordingly, the five action programs include the protection of nation, sovereignty, territorial integrity and interests of the Fatherland, especially in the East Sea and Mekong River; building institutions supporting women and children; anti-corruption, etc.

Issues revolving around the East Sea and Mekong river are the No.1 focus on the action program of Mr. Phan Anh Son, Vice President – General Secretary of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), Vice Director of the International Non-Governmental Organizations’ Working Committee, Director of the Vietnam Institute for International and Public Diplomacy Studies, candidates of the of 15th National Assembly.

According to Son, in the context of complicated occurrences in Vietnam and the world, regional competition among major countries has considerable impacts on the Asia-Pacific region, especially the ASEAN block. The Indo-Pacific strategies and the Belt and Road Initiative, for example, strongly affect Vietnam’s position, opportunities, development potential. The impacts on Mekong Delta region and Ho Chi Minh city are direct. Therefore, support and solidarity among international friends and overseas Vietnamese are necessary to solve such an issue.

“It is important that we improve the legal system, market economy institutions, laws related to social management, constructions, housing, security, anti-corruption,” 15th National Assembly’s candidate Tran Hoang Ngan, member of the Party, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Ho Chi Minh Institute for Development Studies, said. He also voiced his concerns over the declining social ethical values, especially among youngsters and asked for more solutions.

For his part, Do Khac Huong, Colonel, Party Committee member, Deputy head of Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative, Judicial Reforms, Ministry of Public Security emphasized the important role of receiving and handling citizens’ complaints, denunciations, petitions.

At the meeting with voters, the 15th National Assembly’s candidates continued to give more details about their action plans.

Voters speak highly of 15th National Assembly candidates’ action plans

The meeting between voters and the candidates for the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly in the Ho Chi Minh city’s constituency No. 4 (District 10, District 12) took place on May 7, at Ho Chi Minh City Electric Power College.

Attendants include Le Tan Tai, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in District 12 and 15th National Assembly’s candidates in constituency No. 4, voters from Thach Loc, Thanh Xuan, An Phu Dong wards.

Opening the ceremony, Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, working at District 12’s Vietnam Fatherland Front, gave brief biographies and working history of all candidates in the 15th National Assembly. The candidates also reported on their action programs, as well as prioritized targets.

As one of the 15 voters delivering speeches at the ceremony, Nguyen Huu Hau (from An Phu Dong), said “I find that all the 15th National Assembly’s candidates are excellent personnel. We hope that all the action programs will be practically deployed to further improve living standards.

Voters from Thanh Loc, Thanh Xuan, An Phu Dong wards all expressed their confidence in the 15 National Assembly’s candidates, believing their educational backgrounds and enthusiasm will bridge the connection among residents in District 12 and in Ho Chi Minh City in general. The voters also expected an early implementation of all the action plans.
