VUFO Chairman Vu Xuan Hong’s visit to Tibet: it needs to enhance mutual understanding
(VNF) - At the meeting with leaders of the foreign affairs office of Tibet (China), Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Vu Xuan Hong expressed the hope that mutual understanding between Vietnam and the region would be strengthened in the coming time.
VUFO Chairman Vu Xuan Hong and the delegation arrived in Chengdu, Sichuan, June 26th to begin their official 5-day visit to China.
In Chengdu, the chairman met with the leader of Sichuan Provincial Committee. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the basic situation of foreign affairs and economics – society.

The two sides hoped to continue promoting cooperation in the field of tourism. In recent years, the number of Sichuan tourists to Nha Trang (Vietnam) has skyrocketed. Both sides also noted that the potential in this area should be promoted.Leaving Sichuan, Chairman Vu Xuan Hong and the delegation headed to Tibet. In an intimate atmosphere, Tibetan foreign affairs leadership presented a general introduction of the region to the delegation.
