VUFO, VIFA extend sympathies to to Indonesia over losses caused by earthquake
The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) and the Vietnam - Indonesia Friendship Association (VIFA) expressed their sympathies to to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Vietnam over the great losses in human and property caused by the earthquakes on July 29 and August 5 in northeastern Lombok Utara in Nusa Tenggara Barat province.
Followings are the full text of the message.
We are deeply saddened by the earthquake in Bali and Lombok, Indonesia on Sunday 5 August, causing serious losses in human lives and property. VUFO and VIFA would like to convey our deepest sympathy and condolence to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Vietnam, to the Government, Indonesian people, especially relatives of the victims. We do hope that those who were affected will recover soon.
The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations and the Vietnam-Indonesia Friendship Association avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia the assurances of their highest consideration.

The death toll since the 6.9 magnitude quake on August 5 has reached 105, including two on the neighbouring island of Bali, and officials expect it to rise.
Quakes continue to rattle the island, including a 5.5 magnitude tremor at around 2am (1800 GMT Monday), Indonesia's meteorology and geophysics agency said (BMKG).
A total of 230 aftershocks were recorded by Tuesday morning, BMKG data showed.
Lombok had already been hit by a 6.4 quake on July 29 that killed 17 people and briefly stranded several hundred trekkers on the slopes of a volcano./.
