Vietnamese community supports Thailand's flood victims
(VNF) – Representatives of Vietnam Embassy to Thailand presented donation to the sufferers of flood in Southern region of the host country on Feb 28th, conveying the affection of Vietnamese staying and working in Thailand for the friend country’s people.
(VNF) – The Vietnam Embassy to Thailand presented donation to the sufferers of flood in Southern region of the host country on Feb 28th. The gesture symbolizes the affection of Vietnamese staying and working in Thailand for the friend country’s people.
The donation which worths THB 55,600 (~VND 37 million) were presented to the Thai Red Cross Society by Pho Hoang Han, the Embassy's Counsellor, Deputy Chief of Mission on behalf of the Vietnamese community.

The diplomat took this occasion to convey words of comfort and sympathy to the residents in the South of Thailand who were affected by the unseasonal flood in early 2017, causing mass loss of human's lives, properties and adversed to millions' well-beings.
The donation program was initiated by the Vietnam Embassy, aiming at mobilizing supports from overseas compatriots to the sufferers. According to him, the gift represents the heartfelt care of the Vietnamese community for Southern Thailand's people, concurrently push forward the bilateral strategic partnerships.
