ActionAid Vietnam renovates school in Soc Trang’s poor commune
On June 26, People’s Committee of Ke Sach district, Soc Trang province cooperated with ActionAid Vietnam and Aid for social protection program Foundation Vietnam (AFV) to organize a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of new facilities for Thoi An Hoi 2 Primary School, Thoi An Hoi commune, Ke Sach district, Soc Trang province.

This activity is a part of the project “Improving access to quality primary education for children in Ke Sach District, Soc Trang province" under the cooperation of People's Committee of Ke Sach district, ActionAid Vietnam, Aid for social protection program Foundation Vietnam with the financial support from KT&G Welfare Fund, Korea.
The project, with a total cost of nearly VND 2.5 billion (USD 107,500), will build five new classrooms, toilets and drainage systems, as well as upgrade school grounds and fences to improve the quality of preschool education in the commune./.
