Applied Arts Exhibition 2023 Connects Vietnamese, Hungarian Artists and Audiences
Hanoi University of Architecture collaborated with the Hungarian Embassy to Vietnam to hold the 2023 Applied Arts Exhibition. The exhibition, which runs from Nov 20 to 30, introduces the works of lecturers at the university and Hungarian Artist Miksa Róth.

The Applied Arts Exhibition is an annual event of the university to recognize the creative efforts of lecturers and students. |

Applied art is the application of art to everyday life, including graphic design, industrial design, fashion design, interior design, ceramic decoration, lacquer decoration, and decorative arts in general, which have made an important contribution to the social development. |

The works and products displayed at this exhibition come from lecturers and designers in brand graphics, fashion, interior design, industrial design, web design, and multi-purpose fine arts. Together, they built a rich and colorful space. |

The 2023 Applied Arts Exhibition also displays many artworks by Hungarian Artist Miksa Róth (1865-1944). His works were sent to the event by the Hungarian Embassy in Vietnam. |

Baloghdi Tibor, Ambassador of Hungary to Vietnam, said Róth Miksa is a Hungarian glass painter and mosaic artist, specializing in color paintings on glass in the medieval and classical style. He was one of the pioneers of art nouveau in Hungary. His most important works appear in large buildings, such as the Hungarian Parliament Building. |

The exhibition is a special mark in the exchange and cooperation between Hanoi University of Architecture and the Hungarian Embassy, promising to open many interesting events in the future. |
