The People’s Committee of Sin Ho Commune in Lai Chau Province, in coordination with Plan International Japan and Plan International Vietnam, held an inauguration ceremony for a new student boarding facility at Phang So Lin Semi-Boarding Primary School on the morning of May 13. The project was built with financial support from the people of Japan through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

Recently, the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam and Plan International Vietnam held a signing ceremony for the second-year grant agreement of the project “Promoting Gender-Responsive Learning Environments and Schools for Ethnic Minority Children in Tuyen Quang and Lai Chau.”

In celebration of International Women’s Day (8 March), from 5-7 March 2026, the Plan Office in Lai Chau, in collaboration with the Lai Chau Women’s Union and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Dao San and Khong Lao communes, organised a women’s football tournament under the theme “Kicking Away Gender Stereotypes.”

Through the “Girls in Tech” project supported by Plan International Vietnam, many students in remote villages in Quang Tri have been assisted in pursuing their dreams.
