	Customs Cooperation Promotes Trade Facilitation And ASEAN Growth

Military music bands from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries will gather together in Hanoi from December 13 to 22 to participate in the ASEAN military music exchange on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army this year, VOV reported.

The program aims to coordinate to ensure security and safety; introduce and promotion of Hanoi's image and culture, and Vietnam People's Army with the army and international friends in ASEAN; strengthen cooperation between the militaries of ASEAN member countries in the spirit of equality, solidarity, and mutual understanding themed "Music connects friendship;" as well as consolidating and enhancing the position of the Vietnam People's Army in the region and internationally.

ASEAN Military Music Exchange to Perform in Hanoi

An opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel on December 13.

Bands from various ASEAN member states will travel through major streets such as Nguyen Tri Phuong-Dien Bien Phu-Doc Lap 2-Hoang Van Thu-Hoang Dieu before returning to the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.

The military music bands will also be performing at the second Vietnam International Defence Expo to be held at Gia Lam Airport on the outskirts of Hanoi from December 19 to 21.

They will then join in the closing ceremony for the ASEAN military music exchange due to take place at the Vietnam Military History Museum on December 22.
