Berlin badminton tournament attracts oversea Vietnamese players
One hundred seventy-two Vietnamese players from six European nations have gathered in Berlin for the 6th badminton tournament of overseas Vietnamese in Europe.
The event was aimed at connecting OVs across Europe and marking the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnamese Badminton Club in Berlin.
Nguyen Ngoc Tan, President of Vietnamese Badminton Club in Berlin highlighted the initiative to organize the sports tournament, aiming to improve the community’s health and uphold solidarity spirit of overseas Vietnamese in European nations.
Truong Quyet Thanh and Pham Khanh Ninh from Ruhr, Germany have won first prizes.
