On the remote islands, officers and soldiers maintained the solemn New Year flag-raising ceremony, reaffirming their determination to firmly safeguard the sacred maritime sovereignty of the Fatherland. They also visited pagodas on the islands to offer incense at the start of the year, praying for national prosperity and peace, calm seas, and the successful fulfillment of assigned tasks. Sports activities, production efforts, and cultural exchanges between troops and local residents were organized in accordance with actual conditions, enabling both soldiers and civilians to welcome spring at the nation’s maritime frontier in a spirit of optimism and steadfastness.
A new spring has arrived at the naval port and across the islands of the Truong Sa archipelago under Naval Region 4. Amid the vibrant colors of spring, naval soldiers remain steadfast at the forefront of the waves, firmly gripping their weapons and holding unwavering faith as they safeguard the peace and tranquility of the nation’s seas and islands.
