The presence of sakura in Hanoi is the most remarkable feature of the Japanese cultural exchange festival held by the Hanoi city’s People Committee, the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam and the Advance International Company (AIC), to celebrate the 45th founding anniversary of Vietnam – Japan diplomatic ties.

In addition to sakura exhibition with the presence of 30,000 blossom branches, the festival has been catching the attention of Hanoian people and visitors to the city with various exotic cultural and art activities, such as the performance of Japanese traditional songs, dance; Japanese Food festival, etc.

In addition to culture and arts, the Japanese cultural exchange festival also includes dialogues on trade promotion, tourism cooperation and medical expertise exchange between Vietnam and Japan.

The event, which lasts from March 23rd to 26th plays an important role in bringing the beauty of Japan, the land and people closer to Hanoian people. It is also considered an opportunity for both countries to share experiences and cooperate in the fields of culture, education, healthcare, tourism and economics, which contribute to the mutual trust, understandings and solidarity between the two peoples./.
