In addition to targeting drug-related offenses, police forces across communes and wards are simultaneously intensifying efforts against violent crime, smuggling, trade fraud, cybercrime, and other violations affecting public security and social order. Their overarching approach is to tackle crime at its roots by dismantling entire criminal networks, targeting ringleaders, intermediaries, and the underlying conditions that enable criminal activity.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Dinh Vu, Chief of Go Noi Commune Police, the unit has implemented a wide range of coordinated professional measures as part of the 2026 Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control under the principle of "proactive prevention, resolute enforcement, and no off-limits areas." From June 1 to June 22, the commune police conducted inspections and drug tests on suspects, individuals under management, drivers, delivery workers, and other people considered at risk of violating drug laws. A total of 61 individuals underwent testing.

As a result, Go Noi Commune Police uncovered and handled five drug-related cases, including one case involving the illegal sale of narcotics and four cases of illegal drug use. Notably, during the campaign, police successfully dismantled an illegal drug trafficking operation in Cam Phu 1 Village. On the afternoon of June 12, officers inspected the residence of Nguyen Phi Duc (born in 1996), a resident of Cam Phu 1 Village, where they discovered drug paraphernalia along with various items suspected of being used to package narcotics. Working in coordination with the municipal Drug Crime Investigation Division, authorities determined that Duc had been engaged in illegal drug trafficking within the area. Based on the collected evidence, Go Noi Commune Police issued an emergency detention order against Nguyen Phi Duc. The case has since been transferred to the municipal Drug Crime Investigation Division for further investigation in accordance with its jurisdiction.

In addition, through ongoing intelligence gathering, Go Noi Commune Police identified four more individuals who tested positive for narcotics and are completing legal procedures to handle the cases in accordance with the law. According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Dinh Vu, the unit will continue strengthening local management and intensifying efforts against drug-related crime and social evils to help create a safe and healthy living environment for residents.

In Thang An Commune, the commune police advised the People's Committee to issue a comprehensive review plan targeting individuals connected to drugs. They also coordinated with the Commune Military Command, the Binh Minh Border Guard Station, and local security protection forces to simultaneously launch inspections across all 19 villages. During the operation, authorities found four individuals who tested positive for narcotics.

Further investigation enabled Thang An Commune Police to identify three suspects involved in organizing illegal drug use. The unit also received the voluntary surrender of one suspect accused of illegal drug trafficking. In addition, police confirmed illegal drug use by an individual under post-rehabilitation supervision who had relapsed.

Alongside law enforcement efforts, Thang An Commune Police successfully encouraged four individuals to voluntarily register for drug rehabilitation, contributing to more effective early prevention. Legal dossiers for all violators are currently being completed to ensure strict handling in accordance with the law.

With the highest level of determination, the police regard this as a large-scale campaign, mobilizing maximum personnel, resources, and professional measures to screen every individual, inspect every area, dismantle every criminal group, eliminate every major drug hotspot, and resolutely prevent drug crime from taking root or re-emerging, thereby helping maintain peace and security throughout the locality.
