Da Nang Hosts Vietnam-RoK Festival to Deepen Bilateral Ties

As an annual diplomatic and cultural event, the festival draws significant attention from both locals and international visitors - especially RoK tourists, with each edition attracting over 40,000 participants.
In his opening speech, Vice Chairman of Da Nang People’s Committee Tran Chi Cuong emphasized the city’s commitment to fostering meaningful cooperation initiatives with RoK partners. He noted that this year’s festival would expand its scope, covering areas such as investment, trade, science and technology, culture, and tourism - all aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation and contributing to mutual prosperity.

Running until August 3rd, the festival features a wide range of activities, including an exhibition showcasing achievements in Vietnam-RoK cooperation, 80 booths highlighting cultural products and services from both countries, an art display of Vietnamese and Korean paintings, traditional game experiences, and live cultural performances. A special highlight of the event is the celebration welcoming the one-millionth RoK visitor to Da Nang in 2025.

Beyond cultural exchange, the festival serves as a vital platform for strengthening diplomatic ties and promoting long-term cooperation between Vietnam and the RoK, particularly between Da Nang and RoK localities like Pyeongtaek.
