This is an annual activity within the framework of the Quan The Am Festival, first held in 2025, aimed at spreading messages of peace, solidarity, love, and connection among peoples and nations. At the same time, the program helps promote a positive, environmentally friendly lifestyle and showcase the image of Da Nang as a peaceful, civilized, and livable city.
The program is sponsored by the Vietnam Peace Committee. From 2027 onwards, the Walk for Peace is expected to be incorporated into the annual activity system of the Vietnam Peace Committee in Da Nang City.
