The program was attended by representatives of leaders and experts of the Department of Science and International Cooperation of the University of Danang, representatives of the Konan International Exchange Center, and 16 students from Konan University. It aims to connect and exchange international students while enhancing their capacity and level of internationalization in higher education.
From February 24 to March 2, 2025, the two sides will coordinate to organize and attend a series of thematic exchange events on key topics such as research on Sustainable Environmental Development, Vietnam's Economy and Globalization, and Cultural Heritage and Architecture. These exchanges are accompanied and led by lecturers and experts from member universities of the University of Danang such as the University of Science and Technology, the University of Economics, and the University of Education.

The delegation of lecturers and students from Konan University will exchange with students from Danang University, visit Toyota Okayama Danang, experience local culture and cuisine, and visit famous landmarks and heritage sites in Danang City and Quang Nam province.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice President of the University of Danang Le Quang Son hoped this program would create conditions for staff, lecturers, and students from both sides to exchange on academic and cultural issues and as sustainable development goals.
The experiences at the University of Danang promise to be memorable memories for participating students and contribute to strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two schools and organizing an annual program.
Le Quang Son affirmed that the University of Danang always welcomes lecturers and students from other schools and hopes they will always feel attached when they return in the future.
Associate Professor Shari Ann Hanami Yamamoto, a representative of Konan University, highly appreciated the significance of the exchange program, emphasizing the importance of meeting and exchanging between lecturers and students of the two schools. This is a testament to the commitment to cooperation between the two sides, contributing to promoting global educational connections. Konan University hopes that the program will bring opportunities to experience and learn in a multicultural environment, helping students understand more about the country and people of Vietnam.
