Delegates of Vietnam Summer Camp 2016 visited General Vo Nguyen Giap’s grave
During the trip to the origin of the nation, overseas Vietnamese delegates on July 15th visited the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Quang Binh province.

On the morning of July 15th, 110 overseas Vietnamese youths from 26 nations and territories visited the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Vung Chua, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province.
Mecau Dương from Poland, shared that it was her first time to Quang Binh province to visit the grave of the General, and she said was proud of the General, who is the pioneer of the Vietnam People's Army. She would tell all her friends about the General and her trip to his grave.
The Camp will create favorable conditions for overseas Vietnamese youths to visit and learn about the cultural heritages and historical monuments of the country. Moreover, through activities in the program, the overseas Vietnamese youths will be educated in patriotic tradition, profound gratitude to the generations of their forefathers who sacrificed their lives for national independence and unity, sovereignty protection and territorial integrity, thereby improving their pride in the country and toward their homeland and origin.
The Vietnam Summer Camp 2016, with the theme “Overseas Vietnamese youth with national cultural heritages”, takes place from July 10th – 23rd in localities of Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Da Nang./.
