According to VNA, the event presented a vibrant Songkran-themed space, with authentic Thai cuisine, and interactive workshops featuring traditional games and handicrafts. There is also a variety of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle products. A key highlight was the outdoor cinema program featuring the hit films "The Con-Heartist" and "Beauty and the Beat," alongside multimedia presentations on the historic friendship between Vietnam and Thailand.

According to the Hanoi Press and Radio–Television Agency, speaking at the opening ceremony on the evening of March 27, Vice Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong noted that the official upgrade to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in May 2025 has opened a new chapter of deep cooperation.
He emphasized that culture, sports, tourism, and grassroots exchanges remain the vital threads binding the two nations together. The festival, acting as a symbolic bridge, brings people closer while reaffirming a shared commitment to a strong bilateral relationship that serves the interests of both peoples and promotes regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
Representing the organizing committee, Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Urawadee Sriphiromya affirmed that the milestone of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership is built upon mutual respect and understanding. She expressed confidence that the event would deepen Thai-Vietnamese ties by fostering a better appreciation of Thai culture, cuisine, and creativity. Furthermore, hosting the festival in Hanoi underscores the city’s pivotal role as a diplomatic hub where diverse cultures are celebrated and shared with the global community.
The event can expect approximately 3,000 to 4,000 visitors daily to enjoy an immersive Thai cultural experience in Hanoi.
