At the 11th session of the 8th Hue City People’s Council, held on December 8-9, policies to support career transition and the decommissioning of more than 100 fishing vessels that do not meet operational requirements continued to attract significant attention due to their direct impact on the livelihoods of hundreds of fishermen.

On October 6, 2025, the People's Committee of Hue City issued Decision No. 3153/QD-UBND, approving the acceptance of 31 scholarships valued at nearly 4.9 billion VND for local students facing difficult circumstances. The scholarships are sponsored by Children of Vietnam (COV).

In Hue city, 200 photographic works by 133 Vietnamese and international artists were showcased at the exhibition “Vietnam through the Lens of International Photographers”, offering diverse perspectives on the beauty of Vietnam’s landscapes and people through the art of photography.

On August 28, the National Achievements Exhibition, themed “80 Years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness,” officially opened at the Vietnam Exhibition Center in Dong Anh, Hanoi. Held for the first time on a national scale, this political and cultural event brings together ministries, sectors, localities, businesses, international friends, and diplomatic missions in celebration of the 80th anniversary of Independence Day (September 2).
