The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family reunions, when children eagerly look forward to a lantern, a small piece of mooncake, a moonlit night filled with laughter, and precious moments gathered with loved ones. For children in special circumstances who have experienced loss or hardship, that joy sometimes needs a few more helping hands to make it complete.

Joining government agencies, organizations, associations and businesses in efforts to care for children, Tan Hiep Phat is once again carrying out a range of sharing and community activities this Mid-Autumn Festival, extending its years-long commitment to social responsibility.

Each program has its own story, beneficiaries and approach to giving, but they all share one simple goal: to help every child, wherever they are and whatever their circumstances, enjoy a Mid-Autumn Festival filled with more joy, more love and a little extra warmth to carry with them as they grow.

From Familiar Gatherings to the Journey of Growing Up

On September 12, in Hanoi, Tan Hiep Phat, in cooperation with the Security of the Capital's Special Affairs Division, met with children of Hanoi police officers who died in the line of duty and whom the company supports through the “Walking with You Toward a Stronger Future” program. Mid-Autumn gifts were presented to the children as a gesture of encouragement and to bring them additional joy ahead of the new school year.

The steadfast and sincere actions—the pillars of support provided today—will serve as the foundation that empowers these young people to walk confidently into the future.

After years of accompanying the children, such gatherings have become familiar occasions. What is given is not simply material support, but also the presence, care and continued attention of those who accompany the children throughout their educational and personal journeys.

Perhaps the greatest joy for those who walk alongside them is witnessing the children gradually grow and mature. This year, that joy was doubled when two of the children, Le Nhat Linh and Nguyen Dang Huy, were admitted to university and college, respectively, according to their wishes.

On September 25, coinciding with the Mid-Autumn Festival, the journey of sharing continued as Tan Hiep Phat joined the Ho Chi Minh City Police Special Affairs Division in organizing the “Full Moon Festival,” presenting gifts to nearly 40 children of Ho Chi Minh City police officers participating in the “Walking with You Toward a Stronger Future” program.

Amid the festive atmosphere of a day devoted to children, they gathered, played, enjoyed their favorite foods and received Mid-Autumn gifts. For the children, it was a day filled with laughter. For organizers and parents, it was also an opportunity to see the children making new friends, finding more people to accompany them and creating beautiful childhood memories.

The gifts were carefully prepared to bring joy to the children.

Journeys Bringing the Mid-Autumn Festival to Every Small Alley

In another special journey, Tan Hiep Phat employees visited nearly 50 children orphaned by COVID-19 whom the company supports through the “Walking with Children Through Life” program. Amid the unpredictable mix of rain and sunshine in Saigon during September, vehicles carrying gifts and care continued to travel along numerous roads, making their way into residential neighborhoods and all the way to the children's homes to check in on them, present Mid-Autumn gifts and spend time talking with them.

For those accompanying the children, these were more than simple gift-delivery trips. Through each meeting, conversations about school, daily life, hobbies and dreams have gradually helped children who experienced loss open up. The distance between giver and recipient has also narrowed, allowing the relationship to develop into a closer and more meaningful bond.

The visits have become a familiar routine, eagerly awaited by the children and their families.

September 2026 marks the fifth anniversary of the “Walking with Children Through Life” program, launched by Thanh Nien Newspaper, and the fourth year that Tan Hiep Phat has accompanied the children.

After five years, some of the children have entered university, while others are approaching adulthood. Yet for those who have accompanied them, the journey continues — because what the children need is not simply a gift at a particular moment, but also the feeling that there are always people watching over them and believing in the road ahead.

Extending the Circle of Love This Mid-Autumn Festival

Also in September, as part of the “2026 Mid-Autumn Festival and Ho Chi Minh City Scholarship Presentation Day,” Tan Hiep Phat worked with the Social Work Center – Binh Duong Children's Support Fund to present 1,000 Mid-Autumn gift packages to children facing difficult circumstances in the area. This is an activity Tan Hiep Phat has supported for many years, reflecting the company's desire to bring additional joy to children and share with the communities where it operates, has built connections and continues to grow.

Beyond direct visits and events, around 30,000 mooncakes and 10,000 bottles of beverages were also delivered by Tan Hiep Phat to care centers and children in localities across the country, adding a little more flavor to the season of family reunion.

The gifts were delivered to many places and to children from different backgrounds, but they all carried the same simple message: a Mid-Autumn Festival becomes more complete when joy is shared.

For businesses, social responsibility is expressed not only through financial support, but also through the time, resources and presence devoted to the community. For children in particular, sharing becomes even more meaningful when it does not end at a single moment. A gift can bring joy for a day; but having someone accompany them can bring confidence and hope throughout an entire journey.
