Foreign leaders send sympathy to Vietnam over flooding
(VNF) - Foreign leaders have extended messages of sympathy to State President Tran Dai Quang over huge human and property losses caused by the recent devastating floods in Vietnam’s northern and north central provinces.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, Palestinian President and Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee Mahmoud Abbas, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan recently have extended messages of sympathy to State President Tran Dai Quang over huge human and property losses caused by the devastating floods ravaging Vietnam’s northern and north central provinces in mid October.
On this occasion, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Malikialso conveyed words of sympathy to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh.
Continuous downpours from October 10 triggered floods and landslides in northern and north central regions, leaving 75 people dead, 38 injured and 28 others missing, more than 2,600 households were forced to evacuate./.
