International Day of Yoga to be held in June
(VNF) - The International Day of Yoga (IDY) will be celebrated in Hanoi for the third time, starting on June 17.
The event is jointly held by the Embassy of India, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Hanoi.
Specially, this year, the IDY is part of the celebration to mark the Vietnam-India Friendship Year, on ocassion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and 10th anniversary of bilateral Strategic Partnership.

In 2016, IDY in Hanoi attracted nearly 2,000 participants and spectaculars, of which 800 people, including the Ambassador of India to Vietnam Harish Parvathaneni, taking part in the group Yoga demonstration
The IDY 2017 will take place in Ly Thai To statue square on June 17, kick started from 18:30 pm.
