Japanese 'village of miracle' shares experience with Hanoi
Kawakami, the Japanese 'village of miracle' recently shared with the capital city of Vietnam (Hanoi) its valuable experience in development.

Kawakami in the Minamisaku district of Nagano Prefecture (central Japan) is an agricultural village with a population of about 4,500.

For his part, Fujihara Tadahiko said he wants to promote cooperation in high-quality agriculture between Kawakami village and Hanoi city.
According to Tadahiko, Kawakami village is striving to lead Japan in agricultural production and technology development and is willing to make contributions to Vietnam’s development.
Specifically, the two sides can promote agricultural technology transfer and exchange as well as provide training for Vietnamese workers. Kawakami village's chief wished to employ more skilled workers from Vietnam and Hanoi.
The Japanese authority leader expressed his hope to soon realize the "dream" of building a farming village under Kawakami model in Vietnam, and a cooperation agreement between Kawakami and Hanoi will be signed soon.
In response, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung welcomed the very specific and practical cooperation contents voiced by the chief of Kawakami village.
