Khanh Hoa facilitates Russian company’s launching air route

Khanh Hoa will create favorable conditions for Russia’s Pegas Touristik Company to open a direct air route to the province, said Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee in a recent meeting between the company and relevant agencies.

Accordingly, the direct air route is expected to bring more tourists from Russia and ASEAN countries to Nha Trang city.

The Khanh Hoa Department of Planning and Investment was asked to instruct the company to follow necessary procedures to set up an enterprise for the opening of the route under the Ministry of Transport’s regulations.

Pegas Touristik is one the biggest international tourist company in Russia. Over the past few years, the company has brought many Russian tourists to Vietnam through the flight route from the country to Cam Ranh operating from October 2012. So far, the company has carried about 0.5 million Russian tourists to Nha Trang with some 6 million reserved rooms./.
