On May 4th, the Vietnam Railways Corporation announced that it accommodated around 400,000 passengers during the April 30th and May 1st holiday period this year, serving the rising mobility needs while ensuring safety standards.
Notably, the top 10 train stations with the highest number of passengers during this period were: Hanoi Station with 74,246 passengers; Saigon Station with 33,508 passengers; Da Nang Station with 32,602 passengers; Hai Phong Station with 31,360 passengers; followed by the Hue Station with 23,295 passengers; Nha Trang Station with 20,068 passengers; Vinh Station with 11,607 passengers; Quang Ngai Station with 10,035 passengers; Dieu Tri Station with 9,349 passengers; and Lao Cai Station with 9,252 passengers.

The Vietnamese railway industry's efforts to increase transport capacity and operate additional trains have effectively served passenger travel needs and ensured traffic order and safety during the holiday period.
Specifically, to meet the increased travel demand during the holiday period, the regular railway operation of Thong Nhat and regional trains was maintained with a total of 182 trips. At the same time, an addition of 47 trains were made on key routes such as Hanoi-Hai Phong; Hanoi-Lao Cai; Hanoi-Vinh, Dong Hoi, Da Nang; Saigon-Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Quang Ngai…
