At the event, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Vietnam Jaya Ratnam affirmed the good relationship between the two countries.

"Our robust economic relations are the cornerstone of our bilateral ties. Singapore is the second largest source of foreign direct investment in Vietnam. This reflects the strong confidence that our businesses have in Vietnam’s economic prospects and potential. Most importantly, our people have a shared cultural understanding as fellow citizens of ASEAN. Vietnam has always been a popular destination among Singaporean students. Similarly, Singapore has always welcomed Vietnamese students into our country and educational institutions," said the Singaporean diplomat.

He was also pleased with the outcomes of the contest, thanking all participants for their creative and unique entries.

The "50-10 logo contest" shows that VNYA, the host, is a great example of how youths from our two countries can work together to achieve their shared aspirations. The friendships built up through such groups will lay the foundation for our continued cooperation over future generations.

According to the President of Vietnam - Singapore Friendship Association, the winner's logo is used in a series of activities to celebrate the anniversaries of bilateral relations hosted by the Embassy of Singapore in Hanoi, the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, SGN, Vietnam - Singapore Friendship Association and partners.
