Located about 12km from Ninh Binh city to the west, Thung Nham ecotourism zone is one of the tourist attractions with spectacular landscape. Tropical forest strips on limestone mountains, beautiful valleys and caves, along with various plants and untouched flora have formed the unique charm of Thung Nham.
Thung Nham is also home to around 46 species of birds including those recorded in the Vietnam's Red List and other types of animals, shaping the perse ecosystem of this land.
