Furthermore, Josefa Sing Sang also spoke highly of the prompt response of Movitel in the past days, to ensure the communication of Mozambique’s central province after the disaster.
Vietnamese ambassador to Mozambique, Le Huy Hoang, for his part, conveyed to the affected community in Mozambique the sympathy of the Vietnamese government and people, noting that the emergency aid by Movitel and the company’s post disaster relief efforts express the dedication of Movitel and Viettel in helping people in the host country overcome difficulties to continue on the development path. This also symbolizes Vietnam's support for Mozambique.
The relief efforts of Movitel technical and sales experts in the country have been highly appreciated by the local authorities and people. Currently, Movitel has restored over 80% of Based Transceiver Stations, (BTS), the rest (in more flooding areas) will be restored by March 31./.
