As part of the official visit to Vietnam from November 17 to 23, invited by Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man, a high-ranking delegation from the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, led by Speaker Alen Simonyan, visited and worked in Ninh Binh on November 18.

Secretary of the Party Committee Doan Minh Huan warmly welcomed the delegation and extended his best wishes. He provided an overview of Ninh Binh's geographical location, natural conditions, and socio-economic development. He highlighted that Ninh Binh is highly regarded by UNESCO for its green, sustainable, and harmonious development, focusing on preserving natural resources and revitalizing cultural heritage. The province effectively manages relationships among local authorities, businesses, and communities in tourism development, transforming cultural heritage into a key economic sector.
Looking ahead, Ninh Binh aims to build a millennium heritage city, a creative hub with unique characteristics, integrated into the global network of heritage urban areas, and a center of cultural industries and the creative economy. This strategy emphasizes the soft power of culture.

He reaffirmed Ninh Binh's comprehensive integration and expressed satisfaction with the strengthening ties between Vietnam and Armenia. He hopes that Armenian representatives will help promote Ninh Binh to a broader audience and foster cooperation between Ninh Binh and Armenia’s historical cities and heritage urban areas.
Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, admired Ninh Binh’s potential, especially in automotive manufacturing and tourism. He emphasized Armenia's importance as a partner to Vietnam and anticipated that this relationship would strengthen at both national and local levels. Following the visit, the delegation plans to study and develop a cooperation agreement between Ninh Binh and Armenian localities.
During their visit to Ninh Binh, the Armenian delegation toured the Hyundai Thanh Cong automobile manufacturing and assembly plant in Gian Khau Industrial Zone, Gia Vien District, and the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex.
