The project has been implemented at Lac Vien Secondary School, An Da Secondary School, and Tran Quoc Toan Primary School, featuring the establishment of three STEAM classrooms, three psychological counseling rooms, and an outdoor library. These new facilities provide students with greater opportunities to engage in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, enabling hands-on practice, exploration of technology, and the development of creativity and problem-solving skills.

In addition to academic enrichment, the project has introduced psychological counseling rooms to support students in addressing challenges and stress in both their studies and daily lives. Of the 50 teachers participating, nine have received specialized training in psychological counseling, ensuring professional guidance is available.

At the inauguration ceremony, Han, a student from Hai Phong, shared that the counseling room has encouraged students to be more open about their emotions, anxieties, and post-school stress. Meanwhile, Ngoc Anh highlighted that the equipment in the STEAM classrooms makes theoretical concepts more tangible through practical activities and experiments, fostering deeper understanding and engagement.

In Hoa Binh, the “Lac Sy Rainbow Classroom” project, funded with USD 100,000, involved the renovation of classrooms, a library, a computer lab, and sanitation facilities, benefiting nearly 500 students and 43 teachers.

At Marie Curie High School in Hai Phong, a USD 70,000 contribution was used to construct new classrooms, a computer lab, a language lab, and an outdoor library, serving nearly 1,000 students.

In Hanoi, a USD 36,000 grant has enabled 45 children facing serious health issues to access medical treatment. The “Rainbow Classroom” project in Hai Phong has a budget of over USD 65,000 and is being implemented across three schools, involving more than 2,300 students and 50 teachers.

Doseba Sinay, National Director of World Vision International in Viet Nam, stated that beyond investing in physical infrastructure, the project focuses on collaborating with schools and local authorities to identify children's needs, provide professional support, and enhance the capacity of teachers. According to him, the goal is to ensure that these investments continue to be utilized effectively, delivering long-term benefits to students.

Following the handover ceremony, World Vision will continue to work with the schools to integrate STEAM education and psychosocial support into the curriculum, while also building teachers' capacity to make the most of the new facilities. Both parties also intend to expand their cooperation into areas such as future-oriented education, digital and technical skills, mental health, child well-being, and the development of “green” school models that are resilient to climate change.
