Pakistani Ambassador Hopes to Deepen Friendship with Vietnam

At the reception, Deputy Minister Do Hung Viet highly appreciated Ambassador Kohdayar Marri for his many activities promoting Vietnam-Pakistan relations, especially cultural cooperation, which contributes to enhancing mutual understanding between the two countries.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that Vietnam always attaches importance to the traditional friendship with Pakistan, believing that the two countries still have much potential for cooperation in economy, trade, investment, tourism, and people-to-people exchange.

In the future, Deputy Minister Do Hung Viet proposed that Ambassador Marri coordinate to arrange bilateral cooperation mechanisms, including the Political Consultation at the Deputy Foreign Minister level and delegation exchanges between agencies, ministries, and sectors of the two sides in 2025 to review and discuss cooperation opportunities.
Ambassador Kohdayar Marri also expressed his honor to accept the assignment in Vietnam, admired the socio-economic development achievements and the beauty of the country and people of Vietnam, and wished to become a bridge of friendship in the relationship between the two countries.
Affirming that the Pakistani Government always attaches importance to promoting relations with Vietnam in particular and the Southeast Asian region in general, the Ambassador hopes that the two countries will have more effective measures to enhance cooperation in all fields.
The Ambassador thanked the Deputy Minister for his comments and agreed that the two countries still have much untapped potential for cooperation. He also affirmed that during his term, he will make every effort to promote delegation exchanges, and connections between ministries, sectors, businesses, and people of the two countries, and expand cooperation opportunities in trade, investment, and tourism.
On this occasion, the two sides also agreed to coordinate more closely and support each other at multilateral forums, contributing to strengthening peace, stability, and cooperation in the region and the world.
