A total of 110 people benefited from the first day of distribution, including 48 women and girls, and 26 children under the age of five. Prior to the distribution, staff from Plan International Vietnam, in collaboration with local authorities, organized sessions to guide beneficiaries on how to use the cash assistance effectively. They also conducted awareness activities on child protection in disasters and reproductive health education for adolescent girls.

Le Quynh Lan, Country Director of Plan International Vietnam, emphasized: “With nearly 20 years of operation in the locality, Plan International Vietnam is committed to continuing our close cooperation with children, families, schools, and local authorities, not only during emergency response but also throughout recovery and sustainable development after disasters, to ensure that every child can live safely, stay healthy, and have full access to education.”
