Leaders of the Poland - Vietnam Friendship Association on November 7 visited the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland to present USD 1,000 to support residents in central and northern Vietnam who have been affected by recent storms and floods.

Poland - Vietnam Friendship Association Supports Flood Victims

According to information from the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland, Professor Tadeusz Iwinski, President of the Poland-Vietnam Friendship Association, sent his condolences and sympathies to the Vietnamese people who are severely affected by natural disasters, stressing that the association always monitors the situation in Vietnam and is ready to accompany in humanitarian activities, supporting people in difficult areas.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai received the support and expressed his sincere thanks to the association. The diplomat acknowledged the noble gesture, demonstrating the humanitarian spirit and traditional friendship between the people of the two countries, and committed that the donation will be transferred to Vietnam as soon as possible, to the affected localities and people.

Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai emphasized that the Poland-Vietnam Friendship Association is one of the typical organizations that has always accompanied Vietnamese agencies and communities in Poland in many people-to-people exchange, cultural, educational and humanitarian support activities over the years. This support continues to contribute to strengthening and fostering the good friendship between the people of Vietnam and Poland.
