The Antica Trattoria della Pesa restaurant, located at 10 Pasubio Street, was once home to President Ho Chi Minh, where he lived, worked, and met with comrades from the Communist International as well as Italian friends during the 1930s. In front of the restaurant, a stone plaque erected by the Milan city government in 1990 to mark the centenary of his birth affirms that this was a place he frequently visited while dedicating himself to the struggle for Vietnam’s independence and freedom.

Inside, numerous artifacts and spaces connected to President Hồ Chí Minh are carefully preserved. Among them is the “Hồ Chí Minh Room,” which houses a full-body bronze statue gifted to Milan by the Vietnamese government in 2012, along with photographs and documents about Vietnam. Today, the restaurant serves as a meaningful destination for Vietnamese and international delegations seeking to learn more about the life and career of President Hồ Chí Minh.
