President Luong Cuong Honored with “The Sun of Peru” Order

Peruvian President Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra expressed her honor in awarding the prestigious order to Luong Cuong, acknowledging his significant contributions to bolstering the friendship and cooperation between Peru and Vietnam. She highlighted that this high distinction reflects the Peruvian State’s appreciation and deep affection for Vietnam and its people, especially as President Luong Cuong’s visit coincides with the 30th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations. She expressed her confidence that the relations will continue to deepen.

President Luong Cuong expressed his deep honor at receiving the Grand Cross of the Order of "The Sun of Peru." He highlighted that this prestigious order symbolizes the deep affection and friendship between the Peruvian State and people and Vietnam. He emphasized that the recognition inspired him to strengthen the Vietnam-Peru partnership, aiming for greater cooperation for the benefit of both nations and global peace and prosperity.

The president of Vietnam also thanked Peru for its support during Vietnam’s struggle for independence, expressing confidence that the bilateral cooperation will continue to grow, benefiting both countries' development and contributing to their people's prosperity and happiness.
